Working with schools

Over the past few years, I’ve spent a lot of time in schools supporting the next generation of project and delivery managers. I fell into this job – most of us do – and I’d like to help change that.

I’ve worked with over 750 students across primary, secondary, and specialist schools and colleges, delivering talks, hands-on challenges and supporting mock interviews. If you're in South Yorkshire, I’d be happy to visit in person or I can join remotely if you're further afield.

  • Primary schools: I run sessions for Years 4 to 6, combining a short talk with an age-appropriate challenge. I share presentation materials in advance and bring everything needed if visiting in person.

  • Secondary schools: I’ve supported students from Years 7 to 11 through mentoring, talks, workshops, mock interviews and design challenges. As with primary sessions, I share presentation materials in advance and bring everything needed if visiting in person.

  • Specialist schools and colleges: I’ve had the pleasure of working with children outside mainstream education for many years. I tailor each session to the school’s needs, from ‘Guess my job’ activities to mock interviews and beyond.

If you’d like me to speak at your school, get in touch.
